COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Buildings at the Northfield Workforce and Conference Center were evacuated after 40 people at Ibex Global became sick Friday.

According to the Columbia Daily Herald, employees felt lightheaded and had some stomach issues. Seven people were reportedly taken to the hospital Friday afternoon.

It is not known what made the workers sick, but the building was evacuated, and an investigation is underway.

The Columbia Daily Herald reported the fire department had tested the air in the entire building and found no signs of anything out of the ordinary.
