NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Country Music Festival is all about the music for fans, and some are lucky enough to belt out a tune or two on the karaoke stage.

10-year-old Sarah Hardwig had the chance to sing with a live band for the first time at the AT&T Uverse Karaoke stage Friday.

"Oh my gosh! I don't know what to say about that. It's the first time I'm doing that, actually," said Hardwig.

Sarah hit every word of Miranda Lambert's hit "Gunpowder and Lead," but not because the words were on a screen in front of her.

"Because I can't really see. I really can't read words, all I can do is get light and I can remember the lyrics in my own head," explained Hardwig.

Sarah has been blind since birth and even though she wasn't able to see their smiles, the crowd let her know she's a little star.

Sarah's parents brought her up all the way from South Florida so she could enjoy the CMA Music Festival.

The karaoke performance wasn't Sarah's only moment in the spot light; she even got a chance to sing Friday morning on the nationally syndicated Bobby Bones Radio show.
