NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was arrested when police discovered his fingerprints at a home burglary in Donelson.

The granddaughter of the elderly homeowner had come to check on the home for him, and found several items were taken. A trust company was supposed to check on the home on Winthorne Drive.

The missing items included an antique dinner bell worth $350, a flat screen television worth $1,500, an antique telephone valued at $350, and a cedar hope chest worth $375.

The burglar also caused approximately $900 worth of damage to the garage door, motion sensor lights, as well as the carpet and furniture after setting off a fire extinguisher.

Crime scene investigators dusted the scene, and found fingerprints that they were able to match in their database to 32-year-old Sean Lake.

Lake was taken into custody and charged with burglary and theft. His bond was set at $40,000.
