Police Arrest Mom Who Took Children From Grandmother

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two children were safely brought back home after their own mother took them from their grandmother's yard.

The grandmother is the legal guardian of the two children, who were playing in her front yard on Glencliff Road. The grandmother said she went inside for a moment, and when she came back she saw her daughter placing the two children in a car with a strange man.

Her daughter, Theresa Molina, was only allowed to have supervised visits with her children.

The grandmother gave police a description of the car, and police were able to pull it over a short time later.

Molina was charged with custodial interference.

The children were taken back to the grandmother.
