Convicted Felon Wanted In Connection With Park Vehicle Burglaries

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A convicted felon is wanted in connection with vehicle burglaries at Nashville-area parks.

Metro Police have issued multiple arrest warrants for 28-year-old Tremale Wilson. Police believe he was involved in two separate break-ins at Centennial and Beaman Parks in the last month.

One victim parked her car at Centennial Park on June 4, and returned an hour late to find her window broke and her purse taken from under the driver's seat. The other victim told police he parked his car at Beaman Park on May 28 to go jogging, and when he returned his window had been broken and his wallet stolen.

Police later identified Wilson after he used both victims' credit cards to purchase electronics and clothing.

Currently, Wilson is free on $5,500 bond from an arrest on June 7 for allegedly breaking into a woman's car at Percy Warner Park last month. The victim discovered her purse was missing from her vehicle when she returned.

Police said Wilson also used the woman's credit card to make purchases.

An investigation is ongoing into Wilson's involvement in other vehicle break-ins at other area parks. He has previous convictions for attempted aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault and drug possession.

Anyone with information about Wilson's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615) 74-CRIME.
