Two TSU Students Hurt During Overnight Robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two Tennessee State University students were injured overnight after a violent robbery near the campus.

Police said two masked gunman entered a home in the 2600 block of Scovel Street around 12:30 a.m. They demanded money and cell phones from three men inside. During the robbery, one of the victims was shot in the leg and another was pistol whipped on the head.

Both were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities were not immediately released.

No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
