NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Nashville man on multiple charges after police discovered drugs along with his 4-year-old daughter in the car.

Police said the spotted a car driving recklessly and over the speed limit on Jefferson Street and Rosa Parks. They pulled it over in a parking lot, and spoke to the driver, identified as 32-year-old Rodney Mcghee.

The officer found a 4-year-old girl in the back seat of the car, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt. He then noticed an open container of beer, and Mcghee told police he did not have a driver's license and was on probation.

A search of McGhee found more than $500 in cash in his pockets, and a bag of cocaine in his sock. They also found a set of digital scales with a white residue on it which tested positive for cocaine.

A check of Mcghee's record found that his license was revoked and he had pleaded guilty to cocaine possession in December 2011. After reading him his rights, Mcghee told officers he did not have a job, collected disability, and sold drugs to provide for his family.

Mcghee was charged with possession with the intent to sell, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, open container, driving on a revoked license, and child restraint.

His bond was set at $14,000.
