COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. – Authorities said a 37-year-old Florida woman faces first-degree murder charges for orchestrating the shooting that killed her fiance in rural Tennessee last year.

Connie Sanders King was arrested Tuesday in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Authorities said she set up the death of 41-year-old Tom Colucci of Coffee County in November. Her estranged husband Troy King was arrested in March near San Diego as he tried to enter Mexico.

Troy King was charged with first degree murder and felonious first degree murder and theft over $1,000. He was brought back to Tennessee in March, and held on $1 million bond.

Authorities said Colucci was the stage manager for country music singer Jo Dee Messina.

Colucci was shot to death at his home on Maple Springs Home in Manchester last November in what initially appeared to be a home invasion. Connie King was also attacked in the incident, and was found covered in blood wandering the street.

A motive for Colucci's shooting has not been released.

It was not clear when King moved to central Florida. She had worked at a motorcycle shop since March.

Connie King was held in the Volusia County jail on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. She will be extradited to Tennessee.
