Obed Wild &Scenic River Holding Photo Contest

WARTBURG, Tenn. (AP) - The National Park Service is looking for visitors' best photographs of the Obed Wild and Scenic River.

The agency has launched a photo contest and entries must be submitted by August 19.

There are five categories, including a youth division. Each photographer may submit up to three digital photos. The photos should show wildlife, plant life, natural landscapes, weather, or people interacting with nature within the Obed Wild and Scenic River.

The photos will be on display at the visitor center in Wartburg, beginning Sept. 6 and there will be a public reception for winners on Friday, Sept. 27.
