Posted: Updated:

La VERGNE, Tenn. – Officials said one suspect has been arrested, another is still on the run after police fired on an armed home robbery suspect during a vehicle pursuit in La Vergne.

Police chased the suspect into the Antioch area. Both the Metro Nashville Police Department and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have been notified. It was unclear why officers fired at the suspect.

Police said the suspect was driving a maroon or red Lincoln Navigator with the driver-side window shot out. Officials later found the suspect's car at the Global Mall at the Crossings in Antioch.

Nir Shreibman Boulevard was closed at the roundabout intersection with Stones River Road while police investigated.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
