NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The man wanted in connection with a home burglary in La Vergne and a carjacking and kidnapping in Nashville was taken into custody Wednesday morning in Nashville.

Tyler Fitzgerald Raybon-Tate, age 20, was taken into custody around 7 a.m. on Charlie Court. U.S. Marshals, agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Metro Police officers found Raybon-Tate inside the home after receiving information he was in the area.

During an interview with Metro Police detectives, Raybon admitted he jumped into a woman's SUV in the Kroger parking lot on Mt. View Road to elude an officer on Monday. Police said he forced the woman to drive off before pushing her out of the SUV by the Kroger gas pumps. He also said he had a gun in his backpack.

Items from the carjacking were found inside the home where Raybon was found. The vehicle iwas recovered on County Hospital Road on Wednesday.

Raybon-Tate was added to the TBI's Top Ten Most Wanted List Monday. He was wanted out of Rutherford County for a home burglary Friday in LaVergne and outstanding warrants in Nashville

Raybon-Tate, who is a convicted felon, was out on $500,000 bond for attempted criminal homicide after he allegedly shot a man multiple times during a January robbery.

Police said he also burglarized a home on Nashua Lane while free on bond. Three days after that, police tried to serve a warrant charging him in the break-in, but Raybon allegedly refused to stop his vehicle and removed a GPS monitoring device from his ankle during a pursuit. It was later on I-24 near Ewing Drive.

Raybon, who was discharged from General Hospital, faces multiple charges in Davidson County including carjacking, aggravated kidnapping, evading arrest, aggravated burglary and failure to be booked.

Detectives continue to investigate Raybon's suspected involvement in additional burglary cases
