Loud Music Complaint Leads To Arrests, Discovery Of Guns

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Loud music led to the arrest of two men after police discovered two guns inside an apartment in Madison.

Police said a neighbor knocked on 59-year-old Glen Nabors' door to ask him to turn down his music. The apartment manager at the complex on North Dupont Avenue told police he saw Nabors whip out a knife and put it against the victim's back.

Police said Nabors threatened to shoot the victim with one of his many guns. Police were called, but Nabors fled the scene before they arrived.

When officers went into Nabors' apartment, they found a loaded sawed-off shotgun next to his bed, as well as another gun under his pillow.

According to police records, Nabors has prior convictions, which makes it illegal for him to have any firearms.

He and his roommate were taken to jail. Nabors was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, and held on $8,500 bond.
