Gallatin Police Offer $1,000 Reward For Information In Murder

Posted: Updated:

GALLATIN, Tenn. – The Gallatin Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information in a shooting death last week.

Carl Bost was found shot to death in the front yard of a home on Eastland Street on July 5. Police believe the 26-year-old collapsed in the yard after running from the location where he was shot multiple times.

Investigators have collected numerous leads, but said they need help from the public to identify a suspect in Bost's murder.

Police said residents may have mistaken the sound of gunshots for fireworks, making it difficult for officers to collect information.

Carl Bost was originally from Knoxville and was staying with family in Gallatin.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lt. Ricky Troup or Sgt. Alex Tanguis at the Gallatin Police Department at (615)452-1313.
