Shots Fired During Home Robbery In Mt. Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. – Police have responded to a home in Wilson County where they said shots were fired during an attempted robbery.

The incident happened on Curd Road in Mt. Juliet just after 8 p.m. Thursday.

Sgt. Tyler Chandler with the Mt. Juliet Police Department said a 23-year-old male from Nashville was visiting friends when two suspects walked up and demanded money. At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

After a brief struggle, witnesses said one suspect fired one shot. Chandler said no one was hit by gunfire.

The suspects then fled the scene in a silver car.

The suspects were described as black males, but not other information was available.
