Man Hospitalized After Struggle With Robbers In Inglewood

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was hospitalized overnight after a gun went off during a struggle with two robbers outside his Inglewood home.

The victim told police he was sitting on his front porch on Virginia Avenue around 11:20 p.m. Sunday when two men approached him. One of them had a long gun, and they attempted to rob him.

The victim tried to take the gun from one of the robbers and it went off during a struggle. The victim sustained lacerations to his head, and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
