ORLINDA, Tenn. - Two drivers were killed in a crash in Robertson County on Thursday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 43-year-old Jerry Jackson was driving east on State Highway 52 near Orlinda around 7:30 p.m. when he ran off the road. He got back, and collided with a car driven by 61-year-old Frances Kemp.

Both drivers were killed.

A report from the THP said Jackson was not wearing a seatbelt, and had been drinking.

Troopers closed a section of Highway 52 in both directions as they worked to reconstruct the crash for their investigation.
