Man Arrested For Third DUI, Accused Of Hitting Car In Drive-Thru

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A man was arrested for his third DUI after police said he rear-ended a car in a Franklin restaurant drive-thru.

Franklin Police said 30-year-old Joshua Stark left the scene after hitting the car in front of him in the drive-thru line at Steak ‘n Shake at 4440 Carothers Parkway around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

He was stopped by officers a short time later, who found he was impaired and had open alcohol in the vehicle.

Stark was charged with DUI – Third Offense, Violation of the Implied Consent Law, Leaving the Scene of a Crash, Failure to Report a Crash, Driving on a Revoked License – Second Offense, and Having an Open Container.

Stark posted a $5,000 bond. A court date was scheduled for August 1.
