5 Injured In Single Vehicle Crash In Robertson County

GREENBRIER, Tenn. – Several people were sent to area hospitals after a single vehicle crash in Robertson County.

The vehicle was driving northbound on Edgar Dillard Road around 7:50 p.m. when the driver went off the road near the intersection. Betts Road.

Officials said the driver was attempting to negotiate a curve when they went into oncoming lanes. They attempted to move back into their own lane and overcorrected. The driver lost control and went off the road.

The vehicle hit a tree and rolled over.

Troopers from the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene. Spokesperson Dalya Qualls said there were six people in the vehicle. Two were ejected. At least five sustained injuries.

Officials said three patients were transported by LifeFlight medical helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Two patients were transported by ground to Skyline Medical Center.

The exact condition of the victims was not available. Their identities were not released.
