Police Search For Suspects In North Nashville Home Invasion

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police continued their search for several teens involved in a home invasion in north Nashville on Wednesday morning.

The victim said four to five teenager boys forced their way into a home in the 4000 block of Clarksville Pike just before 3:30 a.m. They threatened the residents with guns, and began loading televisions and other electronics from the home into their truck.

However, police showed up and they fled on foot into a nearby wooded area.

Police brought out K-9s and their helicopter to search the surrounding areas.

A short time later, police got a tip about a suspicious car in Hartman Park, and an undercover car began following them. As they were following, they noticed passengers began bailing out of the moving vehicle.

A chase ensued, but it was quickly terminated because it was too dangerous for officers and the public.

A woman who jumped out of the moving vehicle was being questioned by police.

Police continued to investigate whether the vehicle was connected to the earlier home invasion.
