South Nashville Gas Station Robbery Caught On Surveillance

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man wearing a bandanna robbed a south Nashville gas station at gunpoint overnight.

Surveillance video showed the gunman entered the Delta Express on Harding Pike just after 11 p.m. Tuesday. He went straight to the cash register, and told the clerk to give him the money and hurry up.

The clerk opened the register, and gave him all the money inside. The robber then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The clerk was not hurt.

Police brought out K-9 and aviation to search for the robber, but he was not taken into custody.

The gas station was closed Wednesday morning. It was unclear if it would reopen later in the day.

Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME.
