Madison House Fire Intentionally Set After Burglary

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fire investigators said a house fire at a Madison home last week was intentionally set following a burglary.

Someone saw flames coming from the home on Randy Road just after 10 p.m. on July 23 and called 911.

Fire investigators said someone had broken into the home around 9 p.m. through a rear bedroom window and burglarized the home while the residents were out of town.

Several large items were stolen and possibly loaded into a vehicle.

The burglars then set a fire which destroyed everything inside the home and severely damaged the house itself.

Anyone with any information should call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME or the Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017.
