Smyrna Murder Suspect Added To Most Wanted List

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added a man wanted for a homicide in Smyrna to its Top Ten Most Wanted list.

Bounthavy "Mickey" Mouthouta, age 46, was wanted on first-degree murder charges.

Officials with the Smyrna Police Department said Mouthouta, also known as "Soviet," was behind a shooting back in June outside the Souksavahn restaurant on Almaville Road. 

Banthavong Senesena, Tommy Nouanemany, and John Bouavong were shot outside the Souksavahn Restaurant on Almaville Road in Smyrna on June 23. Bouavong died from his injuries several days later.

Police said the Thai restaurant had been rented for a private graduation party when a fight broke out and shots were fired.

Police have said they believe some of the people involved in the shooting are gang members, and witnesses haven't come forward with much information.

Mouthouta was described as an Asian male with black hair, brown eyes and could be driving a 2004 Silver Honda Accord with Tennessee license plate 093NGR. 

He has been previously arrested on drug charges.

Anyone with information whereabouts of has been asked to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest.

Another arrest has alread been made in connection with the shooting. Smyrna Police arrested 23-year-old Timmy Nouanemany at his parents' house on Lutie Court in Nashville. He was charged with the attempted murder of Banthavong Senesena.
