Metro Police Search For Bank Robbery Suspect

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Investigators have been search for the male suspect who robbed the Regions Bank on Clarksville Pike in Davidson County. 

The suspect was captured on surveillance camera walking into the bank around 12 noon Wednesday. 

Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department and special agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Violent Crime Task Force were called to the scene. 

Witnesses said the man passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied.

Officials said no weapon was brandished. After receiving the money, the man left, possibly driving a blue vehicle.

The suspect was described as a black man wearing a tan sport coat, dark shirt and blue Kangol hat. Police say he appeared to be in his late 30s and around 5'10'' tall.
