Three Arrested in South Nashville Heroin Investigation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro Nashville Police arrested three suspected heroin dealers as part of an extensive undercover investigation.

Police said surveillance showed 19-year-old Julio Francisco and 35-year-old Esmeralda Godinez sold black tar heroin to an undercover officer and other people.

Detectives also watched as the two met with their heroin supplier, 22-year-old Carlos Rivas

Authorities seized 94 grams of heroin, two vehicles, and $2,100 cash.

Francisco and Godinez were charged with five counts each of selling heroin and one count each of possession of heroin for resale. They were held in lieu of $180,000 bond each.

Rivas was charged with delivering heroin and possession of heroin in a drug free school zone.  His bond was set at $210,000.
