Two Injured In Mt. Juliet Crash

MT. JULIET, Tenn. – Two people were hurt in a serious crash in Mt. Juliet on Friday afternoon.

The two-car crash happened just before 12:30 p.m. on N. Mt. Juliet Road at Caldwell Street by City Hall. It appeared to be a t-bone crash, but it was unclear which driver was at fault.

The driver of the white car had to be extricated from the vehicle. At least one person was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with critical injuries.

Another victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

No identities were immediately released.

The roadway was blocked while crews worked to clear the scene, but reopened around 1:15 p.m.
