Suntrust Bank Robbed In South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A south Nashville bank was robbed Tuesday afternoon.

Police said a man entered the Suntrust Branch at 4210 Nolensville Pike just before 1 p.m., and handed the teller a note saying he had a weapon and demanded money.

No weapon was seen. The clerk complied, and he fled the scene on foot.

His direction of flight and mode of travel from the area of the bank has not been determined.

A note was posted on the door saying the bank closed temporarily.
