10-Year-Old Girl Killed, 4 Injured In Gladeville Crash

WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. – A 10-year-old girl was killed in a crash that left her mother, brother, and two teenagers injured in rural Wilson County on Wednesday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 37-year-old Andrea Weaver was driving a 2002 Dodge Stratus southbound on Gladeville Road when she lost control in a curve and overcorrected around 4:30 p.m.

The car then went into the northbound lanes and was struck on the passenger side by a 1991 Nissan Pathfinder.

Weaver's 10-year-old daughter Linsey was killed in the crash. Weaver and her 12-year-old son Zachary were injured, but their conditions were unknown.

The 17-year-old driver of the Pathfinder, who was not identified, and a 14-year-old passenger were also injured.

No charges have been filed, according to a report from the THP.
