Man Suspected Of Breaking Into Restaurant Twice In A Week

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was caught on surveillance video in what police believe to be his second burglary of a restaurant in south Nashville last month.

The video showed the man burglarizing the California Burrito restaurant at 2000 Antioch Pike on Monday, July 29. It was the second time in less than a week that the business had been burglarized.

After the first burglary, the owner installed a surveillance system which captured clear images of the man. Detectives believe it is the same man that robbed the business on July 23. In that case, he left the scene on a bicycle, which police said could mean he lives in the Antioch Pike/Haywood Lane area.

Anyone recognizing the burglar is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME. Tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers by texting the word "CASH" along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com.
