NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was arrested after police said she stabbed a man inside a gas station in a road rage incident.

According to an affidavit, 52-year-old Juana Scarlett confronted a driver of a car who cut off the car she was riding in while turning into the Mapco on Donelson Pike.

The argument turned violent when Scarlett pulled out a knife, and threatened she would kill him if he didn't apologize, according to the affidavit. She chased the man into the store and stabbed him in the arm when he tried to get the knife away from her.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Shoppers and store employees held Scarlett down until police arrived.

She was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon with intent during an offense. She was later released on $37,5000 bond.
