Men Wanted In Lebanon Murder Added To Most Wanted List

LEBANON, Tenn. - Two reported gang members wanted for a murder in Lebanon have been added to Tennessee's Top 10 Most Wanted List.

Lebanon Police said 19-year-old Derrick Carr and 20-year-old Shawn Betty Jr. shot and killed Andre Logue at a home on Dedman Street on August 10. His friend 26-year old Justin Johnson was also shot, but survived.

Both have been indicted by the Wilson County Grand Jury for first degree murder, felony first degree murder and attempted first degree murder.

Authorities said Carr and Betty are known members of the "Tree Top Bloods" gang and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Lebanon Police believe the pair is still in the Middle Tennessee area.

Carr has a criminal history that includes assault on an officer, vandalism, evading arrest, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and driving on a revoked license. C

Betty's criminal history includes vandalism, driving without a license, illegal possession of a weapon and failure to appear.  Both Carr and Betty each have an order of protection against them.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lebanon Police Department at (615)444-2323 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to their arrest.
