MT. JULIET, Tenn. – All eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Wilson County were closed after a single-vehicle crash involving a dump truck.

The crash happened before 1:40 p.m. Thursday at mile marker 226, just before the Mt. Juliet interchange.

Officials said the dump truck hit an interstate barrier.

A post on the Mt. Juliet Police Department's Facebook page said no one was injured. Pictures from the scene showed the dump truck facing oncoming traffic, but there were no immediate signs of damage.

Vehicles were being diverted onto the shoulder.

The scene was cleared by 3 p.m., although traffic was moving slowly through the area.
