MT. PLEASANT Tenn. – Neighbors in the town of Mt. Pleasant are in mourning after a high school senior died in a car accident Friday night.

Troopers said Beverly Orban died while on her way to a high school football jamboree Friday night.

A makeshift memorial was set up Saturday at the school at the fence outside the softball diamond where she played, and at her school parking spot.

Friends and family said she had an impact with nearly everyone in the town.

"The last time I saw her we were driving around here, and she pulled off to the side and said, ‘I love you,' that's what I'll remember, she loved everyone," said family friend Erin Smith.

Beverly's mother wanted to share scripture from the bible that she said was especially meaningful to Beverly:  "…The lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Friday night Mt. Pleasant High will be hosting a football game in Beverly's honor.
