NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police want to identify a man suspected of breaking into at least 15 south Nashville businesses over the past few weeks.

The most recent break-in happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday at the Kwik Stop on Apache Trail.

Police said he usually makes entry into the businesses by breaking out windows. In most of the cases, he took cash, but he has also stolen liquor and cigarettes.

Earlier, police released clear surveillance pictures of the suspected burglar as he broke into the California Burrito restaurant at 2000 Antioch Pike on Monday, July 29. It was the second time in a week the business had been broken into, and the owner had recently installed surveillance cameras.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME. Tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers by texting the word "CASH" along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com.
