MTSU Graduate Students Create Film

Posted: Updated:

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - When two graduate students in the recording arts program at Middle Tennessee State University said they wanted to create a film for their final project they got some baffled looks.

Miranda Megill told the Daily News Journal that the request puzzled some professors. She said they wondered why the women were in the recording program if they wanted to make movies.

Megill and Susan Nogues made the 72-minute movie in 10 days last fall, and then added sound and music.

Megill said the sound was the most important part of the project, and that it carried the film.
