NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A wanted man was arrested after police found a pipe bomb inside an apartment.

Officers received a tip that 26-year-old Lamons Bailey, who was wanted in two robberies, was inside a Nashville apartment on Monday. He eventually surrendered to police.

After receiving consent from the owner, they searched the apartment and found a pipe bomb on the floor of the bedroom. The Bomb Squad was called out to remove it, but it was not immediately clear if the device had explosive material.

Police also found a marijuana grinder and scales with marijuana residue inside a bedroom closet.

Bailey was taken into custody, and police said he admitted the bomb and drug paraphernalia belonged to him.

He was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and felon in possession of a weapon.
