Gap Inc. To Expand Gallatin Distribution Center, Add 90 Jobs

Posted: Updated:

GALLATIN, Tenn. – Gap Inc. announced Tuesday that it will expand its distribution center in Gallatin, creating about 90 new jobs.

Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty says the expansion amounts to an investment of about $35 million in Sumner County.

The Gallatin facility provides service to the South for Gap brands, including Gap and Gap Outlet, Banana Republic and Banana Republic Factory stores, and Old Navy.

Hagerty said Gap provided about 2,500 Tennesseans with high quality jobs in 2012. He says Gap's decision to expand its distribution center in Middle Tennessee speaks highly of the state's central location and infrastructure.

Gap Inc. has flexible part-time, seasonal and full-time positions available. Job seekers can apply by visiting www.gapinc.com/careers.
