NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Residents of a Green Hills condo complex fire were surveying the damage Monday afternoon after flames tore through one unit and left a handful of other unlivable.

"Just try to make whatever point you can of it that thankfully no lives were lost," said Susan Edwards who lives near one of the condos which was destroyed.

The fire broke out at the Versailles Townhomes around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday night. One woman had to be taken to the hospital and since she lives alone neighbors decided to go with her.

"Living alone like she did, I just had a lot of empathy and I tried to put myself in somebody else's position, I wanted be supportive," Edwards added.

Metro fire officials are still trying to determine what caused the fire. No one was seriously injured.
