Franklin Robbery Suspect Caught On Surveillance

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Police have asked for help from the public to identify a suspect who they said stole jewelry from more than one department store.

Officials said the male suspect stole more than $7,000 worth of jewelry from Belk, located in the Galleria at Cool Springs.

Police said the suspect stuffed the jewelry inside his pocket and left the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect was caught on surveillance video inside the store.

Investigators believe the same suspect also stole jewelry at a Belk store in Decatur Alabama the same day.
