HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Tips from the public led to the arrest of two accused car burglars in Hendersonville.

Hendersonville Police along with Metro Nashville Police and Goodlettsville Police arrested 30-year-old Lucas Pence and 24-year-old Ryan Flatford on Tuesday night.

Surveillance video showed the men breaking into the vehicles, stealing credit cards and purses, in the New Shackle Island Road area last week.

The video, shown on local media, led to the identification of Pence and Flatford.

Both were charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, and one count of vandalism. Pence was also charged with credit card fraud.

Pence was held at the Metro jail on unrelated charges. Flatford was taken to the Sumner County jail, but his bond was unknown.
