1 Dead, 3 Injured In Stabbing At Houston High School

SPRING, Texas (CBS) - One person was killed and at least three others were injured after a stabbing at a suburban Houston high school Wednesday morning.

The 17-year-old victim was stabbed to death during a fight at Spring High School around 7 a.m., according to CBS affiliate KHOU.

A 16-year-old boy was taken by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital, and was said to be in good condition. Two other students were injured and taken to Northwest Medical Center, according to the station.

KHOU also reported that three "persons of interest" were taken into custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia. No other arrests were anticipated.

As of 11 a.m., the school remained on lockdown.
