Two Pedestrians Killed On I-65 In Williamson Co.

Posted: Updated:

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Two pedestrians were struck and killed after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 65 in Brentwood.

The accident happened around 11 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-65 near the Concord Road exit.

Investigators with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said 20-year-old Jessica Coleman of Pulaski and 26-year-old Rodney Hatton of Columbia were hit by a Chevy Camaro.

Police said Coleman and Hatton were walking from the median towards the shoulder when they were hit. Investigators believe the car they were in somehow swerved into the median and crashed.

The interstate was closed for several hours in that area as they worked to clear the scene.

The investigation was ongoing.
