Mt. Juliet Police Search For Suspects In Armed Robbery

MT. JULIET, Tenn. – Police have been searching for armed suspects who robbed a convenience store on the north side of Mt. Juliet.

The robbery happened Thursday around 5:20 a.m. at the J.M. Market gas station at 590 Nonaville Road.

Officials said two men walked into the store wearing ski masks and carrying handguns. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the clerks and demanded money.

One of the clerks was able to initiate a panic alarm. By the time police arrived on the scene the suspects had fled the scene on foot.

The suspects were able to get away with some money and cigarettes.

Police did not say if surveillance footage of the robbery was available.
