Search For Lewisburg Teen Expanded After Reported Sighting

Posted: Updated:

LEWISBURG, Tenn. – Police have expanded the search for a teen who went missing out of Lewisburg nearly one week ago. Award money has been offered for her return.

An Endangered Child Alert was issued for 15-year-old Jessica Marie Parham by the Lewisburg Police Department Monday. Police said they were treating the disappearance as a priority case.

Details about the circumstances leading to her disappearance were still unclear.

Investigators said there were reports that Jessica may have been seen with a Hispanic male in Davidson County at the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere on Nolensville Pike, possibly traveling in a late model gray sedan with rear spoiler.

Jessica was last seen on Friday, September 6 around 7:30 a.m. at her mother's home on Maple Street in Lewisburg.

The teen apparently left home on foot. She was wearing a blue fleece pajama pant or skirt and a white Tinker Bell shirt.

Jessica was described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. She was last seen wearing glasses and has a mole on her forehead.

Officials said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, FBI and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have provided help with the case.

Anyone with information about Jessica's whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance should contact the Lewisburg Police Department at 931-359-3800, Crime Stoppers at 931-359-4867 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463).
