Posted: Updated:

NOLENSVILLE, Tenn. – Two men have been arrested and accused of breaking into a Nolensville home Friday morning.

The burglary happened on McCanless Road in Nolensville around 10:30 am.

Officials with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office said 18-year-old Delmar Uziel Padilla and 19-year-old Wylmer Orlando Perez were charged with aggravated burglary and evading arrest. Padilla was also charged with driving without a driver's license, leaving the scene of an accident, and theft of more than $10,000. Perez was also charged with theft more than $1,000.

Investigators said a neighbor reported the burglary in progress and followed them in a car after they left the house.

The suspects' vehicle was later spotted by a Williamson County deputy and the two reportedly sped away, wrecked their car, and ran into a wooded area. Deputies said the two surrendered voluntarily.

Padilla was held in lieu of $71,000 bond, while Perez was held for $66,000 bond.

The suspects were scheduled to appear in General Session Court on October 3.
