BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Police in Bowling Green have identified a body that was found in a ravine on Sunday evening.
Bowling Green Police said children playing near the intersection of Russellville and Morgantown Roads told an adult there was a body in a ravine, and the adult called police.
The body was unable to be removed until Monday due to inaccessibility. During the removal, police said characteristics helped them identify the body as 31-year-old Darrell Gregory, of Bowling Green.
Gregory was reported missing by his mother on September 7. He had last been seen on September 1 in the area of Western Hills Motel on Morgantown Road.
It was not immediately clear whether Gregory was the victim of foul play or if he died from natural causes. His body was taken to Louisville for autopsy.
