Man Arrested In Clarksville Attempted Bank Robbery

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A man has been arrested in connection with the attempted robbery of a bank in Clarksville on Tuesday afternoon.

Clarksville Police said 39-year-old Carlo Howard Harris was taken into custody around 4:25 a.m. Wednesday at the Microtel on Holiday Drive.

Harris was identified as the man who entered the Legends Bank at Dover Crossing around 3 p.m. Tuesday and handed the teller a note demanding money.

The teller refused, so the robber took off.

He fled the scene in a blue, older model Honda.

Harris was charged with aggravated robbery. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on $25,000 bond.
