NASHVILLE, Tenn. – President Obama's controversial health care plan called the Affordable Care Act begins open enrollment nationwide on Tuesday.

It's prompting a lot of questions from people wanting to learn more information about the plan.

Obamacare was something on the minds of many at the Healthy Living Expo at the Music City Center on Saturday.

That's why people like Arin Vaughn were on hand at the expo, answering questions and addressing concerns about the affordable care act.

"They are concerned about the penalties, as we know it's going to be low the first year but continue to grow every year after," said Vaughn with Continental Health Alliance.

The official rates and premiums for the Affordable Care Act will be released on Tuesday, when the enrollment period begins.

That enrollment period is for coverage that starts at the beginning of next year.
