LEBANON, Tenn. – Some of the 120 dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Wayne County, Kentucky last week are one step closer to finding a permanent home.

Animal Rescue Corps assisted in placing some of the puppies with other pet adoption agencies yesterday.

Some groups, like Agape Animal Rescue, will send the pets out to temporary "foster homes" before adopting them out to new permanent owners.

The new owners said they were happy to give the puppies a loving home.

"They've probably never been held on to much, so he'll get lots of love, lots of love and cuddle," said Katie Franke, a volunteer with Agape.

If you're interested in adopting the puppies from one of the agencies who picked some of them up, you can find out who to contact by clicking on this link to Animal Rescue Corps' Facebook page.
