NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Authorities want to find a man accused of robbing two banks in south Nashville over two days.

Surveillance video showed the robber who held up the US Bank on Murfreesboro Pike on Monday also robbed the US Bank on Fesslers Lane midday Tuesday.

Both robberies were similar.

The man entered the US Bank at 1125 Murfreesboro Pike around noon Monday, and presented a teller with a check to cash. As she was processing it, he handed her a note that demanded money and claimed he was armed.

The teller complied, and he fled the scene with the check, cash and the note.

On Tuesday, the man initially showed the teller a check stub and then a handwritten note that demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled.

No weapon was seen or displayed.
