NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 29-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash in Joelton on Wednesday morning.
Another vehicle passing by the single-vehicle crash on Grays Point Road called 911 around 6 a.m.
Police said Edward William Vanderpool III, of Ridge Road, was driving around the curve when he overcorrected and hit a concrete culvert in a driveway. That caused his car to overturn, and land upside down in a yard.
Vanderpool, who was wearing his seatbelt, was found deceased inside the vehicle when emergency crews got on the scene.
Police said there was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement at the scene.
